Image of Bourns' High Power Current Sense Chip Resistors – CRF Series Bourns' CRF series automotive grade current sense resistors are a cost-effective component that helps improve system efficiency and reduce losses due to their high measurement accuracy compared to other technologies. Current sense resistors are particularly useful in helping developers precisely measure current in consumer and industrial designs.

The CRF series is designed with metal strip construction, now offered with zero ohm jumpers to expand resistance range 0.0 Ω (jumper) and 0.30 mΩ up to 50 mΩ with a ±50 ppm temperature coefficient rating in package sizes of 0805, 1206, 1210, and 2512, and tolerances of 1% and 5%.

  • Inductance less than 5 nH
  • Operating temperature range: -55°C to +150°C
  • Low thermal EMF:
    • <3 µV/°C (CRF0805 and CRF1206)
    • <40 µV/°C (CRF2512)
