3M™ custom-cut products are engineered materials to meet precise specifications and manufacturing needs
3M custom-cut products include engineered tapes, thermal management products, and other specialty materials designed to enhance the performance of electronic assemblies to meet precise specifications and manufacturing challenges. Custom-cut products allow users to purchase their needed product in the exact format detailed on their specification drawing.
3M full-service converting services have the capability to change the width of a roll of tape to any dimension needed and to create die-cut parts with rotary tooling, flatbed presses, and precision plotting/laser cutting. Additionally, the format of EMI/RFI shielding materials, polyimide, Kapton®, thermal management pads, bonding tapes, electrical insulating materials, and gap pads can be customized to any dimension.
