BC-2400 | Datasheet Preview

Absent their plastic carriers, these all-metal, high-quality coin cell retainers require fewer raw materials and manufacturing steps to produce when compared to traditional coin cell holders. The removal of the plastic carrier reduces product profile by permitting the battery to sit directly on the PCB surface. The dual beam contacts produce two separate points of contact with one of the battery’s two terminals. Made of nickel-plated phosphor bronze allows these retainers to provide continuous battery contact, even under dynamic conditions. Phosphor bronze offers outstanding spring qualities with good elasticity, high fatigue and corrosion resistance, a wide temperature range, and excellent solderability.
