Toshiba's U-MOSVIII-H series of 60 V and 100 V industrial MOSFETs with RDS(on) and low switching loss for industrial and lighting applications

They are also good candidates for industrial automation systems requiring low to medium amounts of power.

Increasing demand for power-saving LEDs has led to the growing use of N-channel MOSFETs as switches for LED drivers. Toshiba’s SSM3K341R and SSM3K361R address this demand with the industry’s best typical RDS(ON) ratings for a SOT-23F package (@VGS = 4.5 V) of 36 mΩ and 65 mΩ, respectively, according to a Toshiba internal study conducted in 2016. Additionally, both devices support a maximum channel temperature of +175°C, which enables them to be used in a wide range of challenging industrial applications. They are also available in a UDFN6 package which is more compact yet provides superior heat dissipation through the large metal slug on the bottom side.

The SOT-23F package reduces heat dissipation resulting from turn-on loss by approximately 65 percent when compared to previous Toshiba products. The small package size of these MOSFETs maintains the same level of heat dissipation while reducing the overall footprint by approximately 64 percent when compared to a conventional SOT-89 package. The TSOP6F is a similar high-performance package for SSM6N815R which houses two 100 V N-channel MOSFETs.
