HB Series Supercapacitors
Unique, ultra-high capacitance devices utilizing electrochemical double layer capacitor construction
Eaton supercapacitors are unique, ultra-high capacitance devices utilizing electrochemical double layer capacitor (EDLC) construction combined with new, high performance materials. The HB Series provides high capacitance combined with low ESR, making it ideal for battery replacement and other long term hold-up applications. High capacitance (3 F to 110 F) enables long term power back-up and high peak current capability. ESR levels as low as 20 mΩ ensure minimal voltage drop during peak current demand, increasing the amount of power that can be delivered to the load.
With an achievable operating life of 10+ years, supercapacitors will not need replacing and will last the equipment's service life. Supercapacitors can be configured in series and parallel to increase the voltage rating and energy storage capability. The HB Series is RoHS-compliant, halogen-free and lead-free, and contains no hazardous materials, preventing end-of-life disposal issues.
