Commercial Space Cable Assemblies

 Amphenol Times Microwave Systems' commercial space cable assemblies include the MaxGain®, InstaBend®, and InstaBend® PhaseStable series. MaxGain space assemblies are high-performance, ultra-low-loss, high-frequency microwave coaxial cables built with spiral outer conductor technology. InstaBend space assemblies are flexible, coaxial microwave assemblies that connect RF circuit cards, modules, and enclosure panels. The cable can be bent closely behind the connector, simplifying cable routing. InstaBend PhaseStable space assemblies are low-loss, highly flexible, foam-core micro coaxial cables with a broad frequency range and strong durability. Cable assemblies for commercial space applications must endure extreme conditions of 30 Mrads radiation and temperatures between -90°C to +150°C. As the exploration of space increases, the availability of cable assemblies fit for commercial space applications becomes an increasing concern.
