TE Connectivity offers industrial-class discrete magnetics for Ethernet connected applications. These devices allow for added flexibility in designing Ethernet interfaces with optimizations aimed at improving transmission, overvoltage and/or EMI characteristics. By meeting reflow soldering profiles with temperatures at 260 degrees Celsius, these magnetics allow users to shorten the production cycle as the components within the device can be soldered in a single step. And because of their extended operating temperature range of minus 40 degrees Celsius to 105 degrees Celsius, these devices can be used in industrial environments where higher ambient temperatures previously disqualified them. Ideal applications include industrial remote powering, programmable logic controllers, IO modules, servo drives, industrial PCs, and other industrial applications where Ethernet connectivity is required.
