Rohm USB-C PD Evaluation Boards | DigiKey Daily
Rohm offers a system of evaluation boards and adapters for developing with USB Type C power delivery and their USB PD controllers. Standard evaluation boards, for both receiver and supply controller ICs, provide designers with access to all of the controller’s pins. These boards provide the opportunity to better understand USB PD, work with custom profiles, and connect the controller to a microcontroller. Compact evaluation boards are space- and cost-optimized receiver, providing designers a known-good receiver solution that can be copied into the end design. Compact evaluation boards offer limited test points and are available with controllers preprogrammed to request either 9, 15, or 20 V from the supply.
