WR-SMP Series Coaxial Connectors

Würth Elektronik WR-SMP series miniature connectors with both slide-in and snap-on features provide a fully compatible interconnect application up to 18 GHz. These SMP series connectors’ interface respects MIL-STD-348 and are intermateable with GPO. Würth Elektronik offers a full range of SMP connectors from PCB connectors, cable connectors, and bullet adapters to pre-assembled cable assemblies with 0.47” and 0.85” for both flexible and hand-formable cables.

There are three interfaces designed for the SMP plugs to satisfy the different retention requirements. The three interfaces are full dent with maximum retention for high vibrant resistance, limited dent with medium to low retention, and smooth bore with the lowest retention achieved with sliding contacts for modular systems and applications. These WR-SMP series connectors are designed for board-to-board applications achieved by the adapter, also known as the bullet connecting two modules between the bullet adapter which allows axial and radial misalignments mechanically.
