Vybronics’ motor series offers efficient mass production and field serviceability

Image of Vybronics' Compression Spring Contact Vibration Motor SeriesThe spring contacts used in Vybronics' series of vibration motors allow quick, solderless installation or replacement. If the motor will be subjected to a very high-duty cycle, ease of field replacement is a factor to consider.

The spring contacts mate with corresponding PCB contact pads in the device. The motor is usually placed in a molded pocket in the product housing. 3D CAD files and photos are available from Vybroncs to aid the engineer in the design of such a pocket.

  • High G-force: 0.57 GRMS to 2.4 GRMS
  • Rated voltage: 1.3 VDC or 3 VDC
  • Lower cost than SMD reflow type
  • Can be replaced in the field
