ELCON Series Drawer Connectors

TE Connectivity AMP's ELCON series two-piece drawer connectors are designed for a wide variety of blind-mate docking applications. The ELCON connectors mixes a variety of power and signal contacts into one robust housing. Housings have either molded-in or optional guide-pins for smooth blind-mate applications. ELCON series connectors incorporate TE Connectivity ELCON CROWN BAND contacts for high current density. Additional features of the CROWN BAND contacts include hot plug-ability, sequenced mating, probe-proof contacts, and support for various termination styles, including crimp for cable, solder tail and compliant press-fit for mounting to a PCB, and internal/external threads for connection to a bus bar.
