VLS6045EX Series Consumer Grade Power Inductors
TDK offers its VLS6045EX series inductors that provide a magnetical shield and wire-wound design
The exterior of TDK's VLS6045EX series inductors are covered with a magnetic material to prevent leakage of magnetic flux generated inside the product, as well as to protect it from external effects. The ferrite magnetic material of the core exhibits higher permeability as compared to products with a metallic magnetic material core. This ferrite core results in a small eddy current loss and allows VLS6045EX series power inductors to be used at relatively higher frequencies.
