Renesas and IDT's security control solution uses edge-computing to provide increased data processing. With the increase of IoT devices, it has become more important to improve and guarantee adequate bandwidth to process data. The limit within central data centers is becoming more apparent.
Renesas’ RZ/A2M microprocessor (MPU) features high capacity internal RAM (4 MB), a dynamically reconfigurable processor (DRP) that delivers 10x image processing performance enabling edge-computing features, and strong connectivity via MIPI/LVDS/2-port Ethernet. The MPU in this full security control solution provides rapid local processing. Renesas’ DC/DC, LDO, RS-485/RS-422 transceivers, and sensors offer exceptional stability and accuracy which are necessary for this high-performance power and analog system.
