Nuvoton's IEC-60730 Class B MCUs are available based on an 8051 processor (MS51 and ML56) or a Cortex®-M23 processor (M258)

Nuvoton's MS51 and ML56 series MCUs are based on an 8051 core processor and the M258 series MCU is based on the Cortex-M23. The MCUs have critical features including an operating voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V, packages with a wide pin-pitch of more than 0.5 mm, a software library of self-tests, and IEC-60730 Class B functional safety. The devices also have multi-function features making them suitable for various applications including healthcare appliances, white goods, and more.
