Fast Recovery Diodes (FRED)
The ultra-fast recovery of MCC's FRED rectifies to increase efficiency in power supply designs
With their ultra-fast recovery diodes (FRED), MCC extends their fast switching diodes portfolio with types providing ultra-short reverse recovery time (trr) by appropriate switching characteristics.
These FRED diodes are available in 200 V to 600 V (5 A, 8 A, 10 A, and 15 A) versions and TO-220, TO-220F, and D²PAK packages.
Fast recovery diodes are used in several power supply, boost converter, and PFC applications. Depending on the individual requirements, MCC offers standard-types, low VF-types, and low trr-types.
