Alternistor TRIACs for High-Temperature Power Switching - QJxxxxH Series

Littelfuse's QJxx16xHx and QJxx25xHx series high-temperature alternistor TRIACs help circuit designers resolve overheating challenges in AC power control applications with limited or no heat sinking.

The QJxx16xHx is a 16 A high-temperature alternistor TRIAC, offered in TO-220AB, TO-220 isolated, and TO-263 package, with +150°C maximum junction temperature, and 200 A I_TSM (60 Hz). This series enables easier thermal management and higher surge handling capability in AC power control applications such as heater control, motor speed control, lighting controls, and static switching relays. This alternistor TRIAC operates in quadrants I, II, and III and offers high performance in applications requiring high commutation capability.

The QJxx25xHx is a 25 A high-temperature alternistor TRIAC, offered in TO-220AB, TO-220 isolated, and TO-263 package, as well as robust TO-218 isolated and TO-218X isolated with loop lead. This TRIAC has +150°C maximum junction temperature and 250 A I_TSM (60 Hz). This series enables easier thermal management and higher surge handling capability in AC power control applications such as heater control, motor speed control, lighting controls, and static switching relays. This alternistor TRIAC operates in quadrants I, II, and III and offers high performance in applications requiring high commutation capability.
