They support a wide range of pin counts from 4 to 40 positions. With more electronics being added into modern vehicles for passenger safety and comfort, it is critical to reduce the thickness of the control units to ensure they can fit in smaller areas within the vehicle. The low-profile MX77 allows for size reduction of the control units while still maintaining automotive level performance and reliability. These connectors are ideal for automotive electronics control unit (ECU) applications and battery management systems (BMS) and use flame-retardant material.

Features
  • Compact right angle SMT type connector with 9.7 mm mounting height
  • Terminal area for signal: 1.8 mm pitch, terminal area for power: 2.1 mm pitch
  • Ultra-compact terminal size 0.4 mm (width of pin)
  • Through-hole reflow soldering compatible hold down legs provide high-retention strength to PCB
  • Compatible with automated mounting with flat absorption area on connector top surface
  • USCAR-2 tested
