PERFECT Metal Cable Glands

Jacob's PERFECT cable glands made of nickel-plated brass are the perfect cable entry solution for many industrial applications. The cord grips and fittings are available with metric thread from M12 to M63, with Pg-thread from Pg 7 to Pg 48 and with NPT-thread from 1/4“ to 2“. The surface of Jacobs' cable glands and accessories made of brass is coated by galvanization. The electro nickel plating lends the brass a hard surface and protects it from corrosion, wear, and possible stress cracking. Metal cable glands also play an important part in safeguarding EMC requirements where cables and leads enter into a shielded system. They must ensure a permanent connection with very low ohm or inductive resistance between the cable shield and the housing potential. Jacob offers two different PERFECT EMC cable glands and locknuts with cutting edges for equipotential bonding. For the entire series of PERFECT cable glands, there are many different inserts available for the installation of one or several single cables, AS-i BUS-cable, or chamfered flat cables. Other accessories like locknuts or sealing rings complete the product program.
