Self-Control Overcurrent/Overvoltage Fuse - SCF Series
Eaton's overcurrent and overcharge protection fuse is ideal for multi-cell battery packs and systems
Eaton Bussmann's series SCF (self-control fuse) family provides overcurrent and overcharge protection ideal for multi-cell battery packs and systems. The product features an integrated fuse element assembly and heater. The heater can be activated to open the fuse element upon an IC or FET, detecting an overvoltage (overcharge) issue. The family is available in three different footprints from 4.0 mm x 3.0 mm up to 9.5 mm x 5.0 mm with current ratings from 12 A to 45 A.
