HSMx-C350/C380 Top-Mount IR ChipLEDs in 1206 Footprint

Broadcom's HSMx-C350 and HSMx-C380 top-view surface-mount IR ChipLEDs are available in the industrial-standard 3.2 mm x 1.6 mm footprint. These infrared LEDs come with an integrated optical lens that narrows the light beam, offering an ultra-small viewing angle to minimize cross-talk and increase high on-axis radiant intensity. The narrow viewing angle allows effective light coupling into secondary optics such as light guides and light pipes.

The HSMx-C350/C380 is available in 850 nm or 940 nm peak wavelengths with narrow viewing angle and high on-axis radiant intensity. The ChipLEDs are suitable for applications such as remote controls for home appliances, smart utility meters, light curtains in industrial automation, and more. These devices are compatible with industry-standard automatic machine placement and reflow soldering. The HSMx-C380 IR LEDs are available in a reverse-mount configuration.
