The ADIN1111 from Analog Devices is a highly integrated MAC-PHY device designed for 10BASE-T1L Ethernet communication over single twisted-pair cabling. It enables long-reach Ethernet connectivity (up to 1 km) in industrial and building automation environments, where traditional Ethernet cabling is impractical or cost-prohibitive.

This device supports SPI and MII interfaces, allowing seamless integration with MCUs and FPGAs. It includes diagnostic features, low power operation, and robust EMC performance, making it suitable for deployment in harsh environments. The ADIN1111 is ideal for retrofitting legacy 4 mA to 20 mA, RS485, and HART systems with Ethernet connectivity, enabling Industry 4.0 and IIoT applications.
