3M's USB3 Vision is a leader in the next generation of machine vision standards, with 5 Gbps high-speed communication and excellent compatibility across a wide variety of cameras and equipment. The standard allows for fixed and dynamic multi-camera configuration and the transmission of high-speed, high-resolution data that can help reduce downtime and waste while providing quality assurance in a factory setting. USB3 Vision components provide an excellent option for a lower total system cost in the user's next industrial product design where cameras are required. Despite these features, a drawback is that systems designed using the USB3 Vision standard are limited by the cable assemblies' relatively short transmission distance, typically 3 meters to 5 meters.

With four product series, 3M USB3 Vision industrial camera cable assemblies bring greater performance levels to the USB3 Vision standard, including functional cable length greater than 10 meters and dynamic bending durability of more than 100 million flex cycles, resulting in more flexibility to build the right configuration for customers’ specific applications.
