Semi-Shielded SMD Power Inductors – SRN3015C Series
Bourns Magnetics' expanding magnetic silica coated inductors provide effective semi-shielding for a variety of applications
Bourns Magnetics' SRN3015C series semi-shielded power inductors are constructed with a magnetic silica coating to the perimeter of the inductor winding to provide effective shielding. These semi-shielded inductors release lower magnetic field radiation compared to non-shielded inductors. They are typically comparably sized to conventional ferrite shielded inductors. The model SRN3015C series has an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C that is well suited for DC-DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial, and telecom applications.
The model SRN3015C series can be the alternate selection to the model SRN3015 semi-shielded inductor series. Note the SRN3015C’s form, fit, and function are not identical to the model SRN3015 inductors. However, the specifications of the model SRN3015C are likely to be substitutable for typical applications of the model SRN3015 series.
