Würth Elektronik's expanded wire-to-board product family includes the WR-MPC5 Mega Power Connector (MPC) series. With a 5.70 mm pitch size and impressive 26 A max rated current, the WR-MPC5 series parts are currently the largest and highest power capable connector products in the MPC range, surpassing the existing WR-MPC3 (5 A) and WR-MPC4 (9 A) series.
Notably, this product range is perfect for household appliances (white goods), features glow wire compliance verified by an accredited external laboratory, and is designed in accordance with IEC 60335-1.
The WR-MPC5 series comprises single and dual rows plus right-angled and vertical THT male headers. Complementing components include mating female receptacles, terminals, and pre-crimped wires to provide a comprehensive product range for diverse connectivity needs.
- Polarities:
- Single-row: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8
- Dual-row: 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10
- Terminals:
- Female AWG 16-14
- Female AWG 12
- Pre-crimped cables:
- 150 mm and 300 mm lengths
- AWG 12 and AWG 16
- Higher IR (26 A max) in comparison to WR-MPC3 and WR-MPC4
