The Renesas RX14T is an entry-level motor control microcontroller (MCU) featuring a 48 MHz RXv2 core that delivers an excellent balance of performance, functionality, and cost. Designed for home appliances and industrial equipment, the RX14T provides robust 5 V operation with outstanding noise immunity, making it highly reliable in electrically noisy environments. With integrated inverter control timers, a high-speed on-chip oscillator (HOCO), two units of 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), a single-ended programmable gain amplifier (PGA), and a comparator (CMP), the RX14T consolidates essential motor control functions into a single chip. This integration helps reduce PCB size, lower component count, and optimize BOMs. High compatibility with RX13T and RX23T enables seamless reuse of existing software and hardware resources, supporting smooth migration to next-generation designs.
